One of Team USA's more forthright characters, Patrick Reed, has endeared himself to the Gleneagles crowd by . Before the start of the round, Reed was heckled by a fan who shouted 'Did you practice your putting Patrick?' in relation to a short putt which Reed missed during yesterday's foursomes.

Reed is currently taking on Henrik Stenson in the second of today's singles matches and that heckling has seemingly fired up a man whose personality regularly edges into the realm of cocky. Reed is well known for having quite a confident personality. Earlier in the year he made headlines when he claimed he was one of the top 5 players in the world after winning the Cadillac Championship in March. He then went on to miss five cuts from his next eight PGA tournaments.
