Rory McIlroy's chance of adding the BMW Championship to his ever expanding trophy case took a bit of a hammering on Saturday when the Holywood man managed to four putt from all of four feet.

The newly crowned PGA champion carded a triple bogey at the par three 12th to fall back into the pack with the kind of putting that would make even the most amateur of golfers look for the nearest lake to throw their clubs in.
However, McIlroy did bounce back back with a quick birdie and, at the time of writing, he's six shots off the lead on five under par.
