How Did This Horse Still Win After Last Fence Calamity At Fairyhouse?
By Tony Kelly

"Hearts in mouths" doesn't quite cover the sheer panic that anybody who had backed odds-on favourite Kemboy in the fantastically named 13:05 Book Your Easter Festival Tickets Today Beginners Chase at Fairyhouse today.

The favourite looked like he was breezing to a routine 1st place finish as he approached the last but had an absolutely nightmare when he plowed through the fence.

A few dockets I'm sure were almost torn up but how Paul Townend stayed on, let alone how Kemboy stayed up is anyone's guess. The Willie Mullins trained horse recovered with class however and ran home to win by about 3 lengths.

The places were rounded out by 2 other Mullins trained horses with C'est Jersey in 2nd and Cap D'aubois in third.
