Jockey's Quick Thinking After Fall Saves Rival From Extremely Dangerous Situation

I think Danny Cook might own Ross Turner a pint tonight after his fellow jockey saved him from potential disaster following a fall at Wetherby.

Riding in the 3.20, Cook was aboard Georgian Firebird when it hit the fence, went down and rolled over. Turner was riding Jacarno and he fell victim when it clipped the fallen horse after jumping behind. Turner was unseated but quickly realised that Cook was still in trouble.

Georgian Firebird has stood back up with Cook dangling upside down, with one foot still stuck in the iron. Turner quickly ran over and calmed the horse as he beckoned staff to come and help.

Thankfully, all escaped uninjured somehow.
