Despite some meetings falling foul of the weather, today is a huge day for racing, with the King George VI across the water and day one of the Leopardstown Festival at home.

Douvan will be the big attention drawer today, as fans watch on to see if Willie Mullins' 8-15 favourite can take it home in the Racing Post Novice Chase at 2.55, while 13-8 favourite Coney Island has already proved successful in the 12.15.

However, the other main races of the day are much tougher to call with the likes of Declan Meagher going so far as to tip Fightforyourdreams in the 1.50, who has gone in from 20-1 to 16-1 with Ladbrokes this morning.

T P Treacy rode the much-fancied Vigil in the 12.45 but lost out to A Toi Phil. Meanwhile the 1.20 could be anyone's race. Rashaan and Footpad are joint favourites at 9-4 at the moment but arguments can be made for the likes of Jers Girl and even Officer Sydney, whose price has drifted to 33-1.

The earlier touted Fightforyourdreams is as good a bet as any in Cardinal Capital Handicap Hurdle at 1.50, in a field that's wide open. Dollar And A Dream is the tentative favourite with Ladbrokes at the moment, at 3-1.

In the 2.20, Treat Yourself is a good value favourite atr 7-2, while the last race of the day sees Bacardys lead the field at 10-11.
