Massive respect goes out to Bryan Cooper who showed remarkably quick thinking today at Gowran Park which prevented what could have been a very serious injury for one of his competitors in the 499 Novice Hurdle.

Cooper and his horse were involved in a clash when a rival struggled to clear the second-to-last hurdle, and both horses fell to the ground, but while Cooper managed to roll away from danger, the other jockey became entangled in the stirrups which could have caused major injury were it not for the Irishman's lighting quick reactions.

Well played Bryan Cooper.
