Well that was a massacre!
Tuesday was a day for the bookies at Cheltenham. Benie Des Dieux falling at the last was the final nail in what was already a horrible day for punters and tipsters alike.
The tipster table is still wide open with just a quarter of the festival gone. The majority of tipsters had one winner, usually, but a couple did manage to stand out from the pack. This year, we mark a place only if "Each Way" is specifically marked in the tip.
Top of the Table:
A bare place is the top of the Tipster Table after just one day. Two winners on a day like that is no mean feat though, and our own Ian O'Rourke rounds things up with a win and a place. With a huge amount of people on one win behind them, it's still anyone's game as we expect a somewhat more normal Day 2.... we hope!
