Yesterday was another shocking day for punters at Cheltenham, and the tipsters didn't fare much better.
For a "sure thing", Douvan didn't exactly deliver, and while a lot of people claimed to be wise after the event, not many of them were any help to us before the race. The one exception was Marcus Townsend of the Mail who not only didn't tip Douvan, he even picked the winner, Special Tiara.
Elsewhere, the early leader "The Wizard" from The Sun struggled yesterday with just two each way placing from the seven races. The stars of the day where Tom Pepper of The Sun and jockey Jamie Codd, who not had two winners yesterday on the course, he also picked winners in the Herald, which propels him onto the leaderboard.
