Full panels will be able to attend camogie, hurling, Gaelic football and ladies football championship games when the country move to level 3 Covid-19 restrictions on Tuesday.
Junior Minister for Sport, Jack Chambers, confirmed the decision on Monday afternoon.
Previous to the announcement, teams had been restricted to a 26-player matchday squad. For hurling and Gaelic football teams playing in this year's championships, that meant 10 players had to watch the games on television.

Following the Munster hurling final victory against Waterford, Limerick manager John Kiely said he was "offended" by the situation which saw him have to tell players they could not attend the game. Kiely added that as far as he was concerned, the trophy presentation was not taking place until training on the following Tuesday when his full panel would be there.
It is good news for Cavan, Dublin, Mayo and Tipperary ahead of this weekend's All-Ireland football semi-finals, and the Cork and Galway panels before Sunday's ladies football semi-final.
