The lockdown has been great for online shopping but when it comes to buying sports equipment, sometimes you just need to visit a store and sample the products for yourself. Luckily for Ireland, one of the global leaders in sports equipment is opening their flagship Irish store tomorrow.

French sports retailer Decathlon will open the doors on their ginormous Ballymun retail space tomorrow morning. Decathlon is dubbed the 'Ikea of sports' for obvious reasons, and handily enough, you'll find Decathlon literally next door to Ikea, just off the M5o.

The store sells equipment for 70 different sports and 1,500 sqm playground. It has plans to open 9 more Irish stores in the near future.
