MMA fighter 'Cyborg' Santos is quite literally lucky to be alive after he ate a brutal flying knee from hot-prospect MVP, at Bellator 158 last night.

In one of the sickening knees you'll ever see, Michael Page's precise flying knee caught Santos flush on the skull, but the injuries sustained from the impact are absolutely sickening.

Evanglista 'Cyborg' Santos suffered a fractured skull during the fight, and the injury is as serious as it sounds, and it could be a very long time before he steps foot in the game again.

His ex-wife, and perhaps the more famous 'Cyborg', Cristiane Justino posted an update on Instagram, and included pictures of the x-ray scan where you can quite literally see where the skull was shattered. She confirmed that he hadn't undergone surgery, but he will be monitored by doctors to ensure his brain doesn't swell.
