Jose Aldo has had to answer questions about Conor McGregor for what seems like an eternity at this point, but the Brazilian champion is predicting that McGregor will go away after he loses to Aldo in December.
McGregor's rescheduled title fight takes place in Las Vegas on December 12th, and speaking after a visit to his social project celebrating Children's Day, Aldo informed reporters that we won't have to hear about McGregor after the event:
Yeah, (I’m tired), but I’m used to that already. I can deal with that now. It was supposed to be gone already, but after Dec. 12 we will win and we won’t talk about him anymore.
It's probably the most boastful that Aldo has been about the fight so far, which gives a hint about how his training has been going:
I just came back from my physical training this morning, came to the social project, and will train more this afternoon. My preparation is getting harder now, but I’m fine. I started my camp a month ago and I’m feeling good now. It’s not the ideal yet, but I will get there.
On his rib injury, Aldo said that his recovery is going well, and there's no point in looking back on it.
