In an interview with AskMen.com last year, the number 11 ranked featherweight questioned if 'Irish potato picker' McGregor would know what the term 'flash in the pan' meant.

And again on Friday, Guida referred to the Irish penchant for the traditional staple of out diet.

You make some good points and he's very skilled but he's got a big hole in his game that everyone say last week and I believe Jose Aldo being the champion that he is and defending his belt how many times. He's going to make short work of him.

When he's done with him Cub or I am going to make short work of him. He's going to be a distant memory and we’re going to send him back to the potato-picking country he came from.
