Conor McGregor Demands Fight With Floyd Mayweather's Last Opponent

Irish UFC fighter Conor McGregor has come out and expressed his desire to fight Tenshin Nasukawa, following Floyd Mayweather's dismantling of the Japanese kickboxer in one round on New Year's Eve.

Mayweather took on Nasukawa in the Saitama Prefecture Super Arena in Saitama in Japan , where he made a reported $9 million in the exhibition bout, flooring his opponent three times before claiming the win in just over two minutes.

McGregor has now demanded that the UFC and Paradigm Sports Management fix a bout between the pair, though it is highly unlikely that the UFC will let their star attraction to compete in anything other than a UFC fight:

I wish to go to Tokyo to face Tenshin Nasukawa in a Mixed Martial Arts exhibition bout.
Before this summer.
Please arrange this, this instant.
Yours sincerely
The champ champ.

I’m the real Django no holds barred.

The demand by McGregor is more than likely an attempt to keep his name in the papers with UFC chief Dana White recently stating that he expects  McGregor to return to the octagon in 2019, telling TMZ Sports that a rematch with Khabib Nurmagomedov is on the cards:

I think a lot of people want to see that fight

Obviously, again, we still haven't gone before the Nevada State Athletic Commission. That's got to happen, and when that does, we can figure how this whole thing plays out.

Is Max [Holloway] moving to 155lbs? Tony Ferguson is obviously in the mix. We've got to see how this thing plays out.

Obviously, guys are going to have to win. It depends on how long the suspensions are and things like that. As long as everything goes right, this fight should happen.
