Conor McGregor Has His Final Say On The 'Poppy Rant' Controversy

Twitter has gone into meltdown after Conor McGregor's comments earlier tonight, but now it seems the man himselfs wants to move on.

After taking to Facebook to curse out out the Queen and take a dig at Irish supporting Celtic fans, McGregor opted for Twitter this time around and explained that he doesn't care much for politics or religion, he just wants to fight and get paid.

You would have to imagine that he saw the reaction coming, so perhaps this is someone in his ear asking him to try and defuse the situation somewhat.

All he wants is a few hundred million for his endeavors in the Octagon, is that so much to ask?

He can't blame anyone other than himself for sparking this frenzy on social media, and we are sure he isn't looking to, but you're not going to get "peace" on sensitive subjects such as the poppy issue.
