It will be the toughest test of the Dubliner's career, yet he seems to be approaching the fight with the same measured confidence that he does for every bout.
In the latest episode of the UFC 178 Embedded series, we're introduced to a much calmer Dustin Poirier than we had seen during the media obligations this week. The episode opens with the Diamond shopping for his post-weigh-in meals with a big, childish grin washed over his face. There's no sugar-coating it, cutting weight sucks. The prospect of finally getting to eat proper food again appeared to have mollified the American.
McGregor doesn't appear until the 4:44 mark, where he's seen meeting fans before the stand-out comedic moment of the clip. The episode ends with McGregor laughing maniacally while watching the yesterday's installment of Embedded. The Notorious really enjoyed watching Poirier get wound up after their awkward staring competition in the hotel lobby. And, as expected, the most quotable man in Irish MMA produced another gem.
