Conor McGregor's Tweet Sums Up Ireland's Feelings Towards Love/Hate

What do custom-made suits, highlight reel knockouts, King crisps and RTE crime dramas all have in common? They're all loved by Irish UFC superstar Conor McGregor. The Notorious professed his fondness for Love/Hate on Twitter last night.

The posterboy of Irish MMA even claimed (jokingly, we hope) that the show makes him want to trade in his current lifestyle at the zenith of his sport to join the criminal underbelly of Dublin. That being said, a man who beats up the toughest dudes on the planet for a living would probably take battering scrotes in his stride. Perhaps Stuart Carolan could write McGregor in as some sort of hitman.

If the Notorious really wanted to ingratiate himself into King Nidge's gang, he'd want to lay off the Louis Copelands and trade them in for something a little more... scummy. At the moment, he just looks a wee bit out of place among hardened gangland criminals.
