Granted it may not be Peig Sayers levels of Gaeilge but nonetheless Conor McGregor introduced the old tongue to a significant new audience last night. McGregor actually went to a Gaelscoil and he's proved before that he can string a few words together. However, he was in Dublin at that time so perhaps he was just trying to keep it to the basics for the sake of an American audience.
