We have ourselves a fight! With UFC 229 on the horizon the weigh-ins provided the only real scare that a bout between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov might not materialise. Well the MMA world can breathe easy now, with both fighters making the weight for their lightweight title bout on Saturday.
Nurmagomedov was the first fighter to weigh in and the Dagestani weighing in 155 pounds on the dot. The Eagle did not wait around, leaving the weigh-ins immediately after making weight.
There was large a gap between when Khabib and McGregor weighed in, but when the Notorious did turn up he looked in great shape weighing in at 154.4 pounds.
The 30-year-old let out a signature battle cry when he was on the scales, as the hype train gathers for his October 6th showdown with Nurmagomedov.
