The Cleveland baseball franchise took a 2-1 lead over the Chicago Cubs in the World Series last night, but before the action at Wrigley Field, MMA fans were intrigued to see Dana White drop by the Fox Sports studio for the World Series pre-game show.

Sporting some Cubs attire (Cleveland dumped his beloved Red Sox out earlier this month), the UFC president gave a lowdown on how preparation for UFC 205 has gone so far, and what fans can expect from the watershed event in New York. White stated that the event has already broken a Madison Square Garden record, but not before he was asked about Conor McGregor by baseball legend Pete Rose.

The man known during his playing career as 'Charlie Hustle' said he was enthralled by McGregor's performances in the octagon, but asked White what the Crumlin man is like to work with outside it. Despite repeatedly insisting in recent months that there's no beef between he and McGregor, what with ThanksForTheCheeseGate disrupting UFC 200, White admitted that 'The Notorious' can be a handful behind the scenes, but praised his ability to persevere in the midst of setbacks:

He's a little tough to deal with, but he's worth it.

All the other antics and everything aside, Conor McGregor will step up and fight anybody, anywhere, any time. I've never been in a situation where somebody pulls out the week before a fight and he literally does not care who he fights.

Never been in that situation.

You can watch the full exchange here, with White also providing an update on Ronda Rousey and explaining his friendship with Aaron Rodriguez.
