Rafael Dos Anjos was spectacular on the MMA Hour on Monday night. The lightweight champion joined Ariel Helwani to react to UFC 196 and absolutely smashed Conor McGregor. The Brazilian champion thinks McGregor got exposed by fighting Diaz.

Dos Anjos confirmed that he did watch UFC 196, and said that the main thought running through his mind while watching the fight was that he would beat McGregor even worse than Diaz did:

Conor is a good fight, I think I can put a worse beat on him [Conor] for sure.

That was only the beginning though, because Helwani asked if the Brazilian was upset that McGregor will now go back down to 145, and that Dos Anjos will miss out on the payday of facing the Dubliner:

I don't need to fight him [Conor] to change my life. My life will keep on going, and I think have a lot more challenges on my weight division. I think he doesn't deserve a fight for 155 pounds.

He just got submitted by number five ranking with ten days notice.

I have lot of contenders, a lot of lightweights and I just think that Conor doesn't deserve a fight for 155 belt, he just got smashed by a number five ranking.

If you can believe it, that wasn't the worst that Dos Anjos said about McGregor. That just set the lightweight champion to hail Diaz's heart and contrast that to his opponent:

Conor did not show a lot of heart. He's a lion when he's punching somebody, but when he's getting punched he's become a cat. He's a little cat. He's a chicken heart.

Rafael Dos Anjos then confirmed he would be back training from his broken foot in five or six weeks, and is targetting a return to fighting at UFC 200. He mentioned that he would fight anyone, even if it was at welterweight. Dos Anjos named Robbie Lawler and he seems desperate for a fight.

The Brazilian had one more shot at McGregor before he left, and questioned how the Dubliner can call him a "poosay", when he doesn't have any heart.

He [Conor] just got exposed. Everybody saw the truth.

Even Holly Holm went to sleep without tapping. He tapped, you know. Go asleep man, be a man. Holly Holm showed more heart.

He also thinks that McGregor has been lucky in his UFC career so far, with the only notable victories he has down to a lucky shot and fighting Mendes on ten days notice:

Frankie would kill him. It's a different level. Against Aldo he got lucky. He caught Aldo with a punch. But other than that who has he fought? He beat Chad Mendes on ten days notice. It's all hype.

You can watch the interview at 45 minutes here, once the show ends at 9 pm.
