American actor Jake Gyllenhaal - of Prisoners, Donnie Darko, and Brokeback Mountain fame - was filming at the weigh-ins for UFC 285, for his new movie, which also stars Conor McGregor.

In the remake of the 80's classic Road House, which saw Patrick Swayze in the main role, Gyllenhaal will play "an ex-UFC fighter (Elwood Dalton) ends up working at a roadhouse in the Florida Keys where things are not as they seem."

The movie will also be directed by Doug Liman, who has been behind the camera for classics such as Swingers, The Bourne Supremacy, and Edge of Tomorrow.

For the Road House scene, Gyllenhaal walked out onto the stage - looking shredded - for a mock weigh-in, before slapping his opponent -  played by former UFC fighter Jay Heiron - during their stare down.

Conor McGregor was also on the stage, to give an introduction to the film.

Las Vegas! Who's ready for tomorrow night? We've got the biggest fight in Road House history, Harris versus Dalton UFC 222.

Everyone in this arena, you're about to be part of my movie that's coming out with myself and Jake Gyllenhaal. A Joe Silver production, make sure to cheer for the weigh-ins and let's go Las Vegas.

As is standard practice director wanted more than one take of the scene, and McGregor had to convince the crowd to stay for a second go round.

"We're going to do one more take of this weigh-in if you don't mind. Guys get on your feet and let them know, it's an important movie and you're going to be in it. One more take!"
