The McGregor Alvarez press conference found the Irishman as his usual braggadocios self, claiming that he "runs New York" and claiming that he will knock Eddie Alvarez out within one round.
McGregor also revealed no ill-effects from the Nate Diaz fight, claiming he had merely bruised his foot and had accepted the Alvarez fight ten days ago. The Irishman had an enormous level of support within the arena, with one particularly loud chorus is 'Olés' breaking out towards the end.
The most vocal McGregor supporter, however, was the guy who blagged his way into the press pit and ended up asking the final question.
He began in reasonably solemn tone, before having a go at Alvarez, much to McGregor's delight. Watch below:
