The Irishman was questioned about Jose Aldo's recent injury problems and the resulting doubt cast over the UFC featherweight title bout on July 11th.

No matter who shows up the face him in two weeks' time, Aldo or contingency plan Chad Mendes, McGregor is ready.

He is hoping however that it will be the Brazilian. McGregor said that Aldo needs 'a little bit of toughen the fuck up'.

I just hope that he toughens up. A little bit of Ibuprofen, a little bit of ice, a little bit of toughen the fuck up.

He also said that Aldo should 'step up and fight like a fan'.

Just toughen up and show up. Many people have stepped inside the Octagon with little, itty bitty bruises. We all have knocks and bruises. Dust it off and step up. Step up and fight like a man. Fight like the champion you should be.
