The fight for which the hype began back in March of this year is nearly upon us.

Conor McGregor and Jose Aldo face-off in a featherweight unification fight at UFC 194 in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The pair, along with others who will take part in UFC 194 and the The Ultimate Fighter Finale, gathered for a press conference in Las Vegas on Wednesday.

The Dubliner was asked about his use of visualisation and how he envisons events playing out once he steps into the octagon.

A calculating McGregor laid out precisely the performance which he has planned.

I visualise entering the contest; unpredicatble.

I will pressure him. I will evade him. I will strike him with every limb.

The knee. The heel. The fist. The elbow.

I will be a ghost in there.

He will think I'm there and then I am not there. He will think I am not there and then I am there.

I am going to put on a masterpiece for this fight.

This will prove my point, that I am the number one.
