One UFC Title Holder Has Very Little Respect For Conor McGregor

Conor McGregor has definite ambitions of stepping up in weightclass in the near future. The Dubliner mentioned his dislike of the 145 weightcut numerous times during his media obligations for UFC 189.

Once his goals have been attained within the featherweight division, a move to lightweight is highly likely.

A fighter who he would almost certainly face one day in that division is current champion Rafael dos Anjos.

The 155 title holder was speaking to the Brazilian media this week and got to talking about Conor McGregor.

It's clear that Dos Anjos has very little respect for the Irishman.

He told Combate that he sees McGregor as 'scrawny, like a little chicken'.

This guy's no good.

Aldo would destroy him. Chad Mendes, if prepared, would destroy him and he showed.

I saw McGregor, he's really scrawny, like a little chicken. Chad Mendes is strong, but not Conor. He was exposed in that fight. That's who he is. I never saw Chad walking backwards in a fight, he's always pressuring and a minute in the guy was exhausted.

Dillashaw [UFC bantamweight champion] was standing next to me and I asked about Chad's cardio. He said: 'He's good to go three rounds, but not five. Anyway he's always in shape'.

A minute into the fight, he was tired and still beat the shit out of Conor in the first and second round, but I believe McGregor is not even close to being a top 5.

Dos Anjos also said that he would love to fight the interim featherweight title holder at lightweight and would even be amenable to the bout being held in Ireland.

I would love for him to move up to lightweight, it would be easy money to beat that kid.

I would love to welcome him at lightweight in Ireland. It's hard to say how the fight would go, but it would be agressive, I would punch him hard, go hard on him because he breaks.
