Paddy Holohan Set To Get The Fight He's Been Angling For For Months

Paddy Holohan hasn't been seen since losing to Louis Smolka at UFC Dublin in October. According to Ariel Helwani of MMAFighting, Holohan is set to face Willie Gates at UFC's debut in Rotterdam joining a card including Gunnar Nelson, Neil Seery, and Antonio 'Bigfoot' Silva.

The event, set for May 8th will mark a chance for redemption for both fighters coming off a loss. The pair have been sending tweets back and forth to each other since last December - making this a very easy next fight for both.

Gates in particular has been angling for Holohan and wanted to fight at UFC 197:

Not twitter burns of the highest quality, but it looks like it'll be a highly anticipated fight between the pair at least.
