On the off chance that you missed it, the rumours suggest that Conor McGregor will get an immediate chance for redemption against Nate Diaz. The Dubliner lost to Diaz at UFC 196, and according to various sources a re-match has been verbally agreed by all relevant parties.

It had been expected that McGregor would return to 145 pounds to defend his featherweight title, while Diaz could aim for a title shot against Dos Anjos the lightweight champion.
