Ron Stallings first UFC debut did not last long.

Just over three and a half minutes into his fight against Uriah Hall, the fight was stopped on the advice of the doctor, after referee Herb Dean asked him to take a look at a cut above the 31-year-old's eye.

Here's a close up view of the cut.

Maybe, actually, a little too close.

Would have loved to see how it would have turned out if this didn't happen. @ufc @chiorboymma @lloydirvin

This is the right hand that appears to have caused the cut.

Joe Rogan actually thought he had seen worse and said that if the fight was being held in Las Vegas then it would probably have continued.
