Five months before Ronda Rousey was KO'd by Holly Holm, she was labeled as the 'most dominant female athlete' currently active by Sports Illustrated.

Speaking to Ellen DeGeneres, Rousey admitted that in the moments following defeat in November suicidal thoughts entered her mind.

Honestly, my thought, I was in the medical room and I was down in the corner, and I was like, ‘What am I anymore if I’m not this?'

I was literally sitting there and thinking about killing myself, and that exact second I’m like, ‘I’m nothing. What do I do anymore?’ and ‘No one gives a shit about me anymore without this.'

To be honest, I looked up and I saw my man, Travis [UFC fighter Travis Browne], was standing there. And I looked up at him and I was like, ‘I need to have his babies. I need to stay alive.’ Really, that was it. I haven’t told anybody that. I’ve only told him.
