Sit Back And Enjoy The Brazilian Commentary Of McGregor Vs Aldo In All Its Glory

The excitement was followed by the shock and it was the same the world over. Regardless of whether you were watching it in Rochfortbridge or Rio de Janeiro, Conor McGregor laying out Jose Aldo in thirteen seconds was one hell of an upset.

We may have believed McGregor's usual nonsense but not to that extent. This was the champ, undefeated in ten years and in his prime at 29. It shouldn't have gone like that. But it did and after the initial shock we couldn't have been happier about it. While we did a few cartwheels around the room before falling into the leaba absolutely wrecked, imagine what the poor Brazilian fans went through.

With Vitor Belfort and Anderson Silva as good as gone, the Brazilian domination of MMA took perhaps its biggest blow on Saturday night. Silva's decline may have been difficult to see but it was due time for that. The same can't be said of Aldo.

Granted, Rafael Dos Anjos and Fabricio Werdum still hold titles but we already know McGregor is aiming for that lightweight belt so the Brazilians may not be able to claim that much longer. With Jacaré Souza also going down somewhat surprisingly, it was already a less than ideal night for Brazilian fans. Then came the main event.

While we were delighted to hear Joe Rogan give his thoughts on the matter, the Brazilian fans weren't quite so lucky. When we thought of what Brazilian fans might be going through, there was only one course of action. Look for the Brazilian feed of the action.

We found it and it was well worth the two minute search.

We don't speak Portuguese but it doesn't really matter. We're assuming 'termino' means 'it's over' or something along those lines but really it's all in the tone of voice. The shocked tone is all that we really need to enjoy it but if anyone wants to send us a translation of the Portuguese then feel free to do so.
