There's An Awful Lot Of Criticism Being Aimed At One Part Of McGregor's Statement

The statement that the non-MMA hating world was waiting for his here. It's rambling, it's entertaining, it's McGregor doing what he does and, as such, it's obviously caused quite a bit of controversy.

The anti-PC brigade will no doubt be decrying the moral decent into uptight nonsense and 'sure you can't even make a fucking joke anymore' but it still needs to be said. What exactly was the need for the sexist nonsense in the middle of that statement?

You have the world's attention, everyone's hanging off every word of it and yet, despite the fact that there's been two days to come up with it, there's still the need to drag female reporters through the wringer, really?

Sitting in a car on the way to some dump in Conneticut or somewhere, to speak to Tim and Suzie on the nobody gives a fuck morning show did not get me this life.

Talking to some lady that deep down doesn't give a fuck about what I'm doing, but just wants some sound bites so she can maybe get her little tight ass a nice raise, and I'm cool with that too, I've been giving you all raises.

And no, it's not his job to be the best person he can be, he simply doesn't need to give a crap about what people think, but what exactly did he gain from such a needlessly misogynistic line?

And just as a coincidence, there does happen to be a reporter named Suzie from Conneticut who's about to get a heap load of added attention even though it would appear that McGregor was being entirely facetious when he picked the names and location of said individual reporter.
