It didn't take all that long for Irish fans to take to twitter to hammer Jose Aldo with the fantastic hashtag : #ThingsThatLastLongerThanAldo. Ironically, the time it took for the first tweet to appear with that tag is probably the only thing that didn't last as long as Aldo did as McGregor's left hand ended the bout.
We're clearly a witty bunch, with some fantastic references from Game Of Thrones characters, to GAA slights, and taunting Man United fans. Keep it up folks.
