The highly anticipated stare-down between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz ahead of their headline fight at UFC 196 was going as intensely as expected, until the Irishman took a swing at his opponent's outstretched fist, which sparked a rush of the stage by the entourage of both parties and security men.

After things settled down, Diaz was seen touching his right hand, the one that had been struck by McGregor, and many wondered if Conor's closed fist had actually inflicted an injury. See the incident here:
