Conor McGregor made UFC history in New York on Saturday night, and he managed to do it without a scratch on him, so you knew full well that he was going to enjoy himself at the after-party.
McGregor after-parties have become a huge deal since he cast his spell on Las Vegas, and he even goes to them after a defeat such are the financial benefits of allowing a night club to host the official after-party, and sure enough, the Marquee in New York was packed hours after the event at Madison Square Garden.
Chamatkar Sandhu of MMAFighting.com was there, and he gave us all a glimpse into what went on.
Conor showed up, and the celebrations began, but while we've seen McGregor make it rain before, most notably on the side of the octagon after knocking out Jose Aldo, we haven't seen John Kavanagh give it a go, but this time he did, although not before rapping every word of 'Jump Around'...

We've spoken to McGregor's striking coach Owen Roddy about these after parties and how sometimes they can be awkward affairs where nobody really wants to be there, but they looked like they were all soaking in the historic achievement this time.
And rightly so.
