The last time Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz sat across from each other for a fight week press conference it became an instant classic - and there is another one scheduled for 9pm this evening.
The hastily assembled UFC 196 press conference last March spawned a series of classic lines, one after the next. For McGregor, there was the now-famous "balloon animals" jibe, while Diaz fired back with steroid allegations against his Irish opponent. Whichever way you saw it, and regardless of where your allegiances lie, that press conference was promotional gold for the UFC and that was reflected by the 3.1 MILLION views the video now has.
In that first press conference, McGregor was coming off the back of a 13 second destruction of José Aldo but now that he is coming into UFC 202 on the back of a defeat to the opponent he will face on Saturday night, will that call for a change of tack for Dubliner?
