Rugby legend Keith Wood, Dublin hurler Alan Quinlan, former Irish international Alan Quinlan were on hand to help raise funds for the Special Olympics Ireland team along with the help of Eircom with accompaniment from Delorentos, Little Hours and State Lights.

As you can see from the photos, they look to make a cohesive team looking good up front and plenty of security in the back.

All of the funds raised on the day will help the Special Olympics Ireland to continue to help supporting athletes with intellectual disabilities.

2015 celebrates the 30th year anniversary of partnership between eircom and Special Olympics Ireland. This year is also significant as the World Games will take place in LA from 25th July until 2nd August.


Des Cahill was also on hand for some top class analysis.

Today, Friday March 24th is Special Olympics Ireland's annual collection day, so get out and give whatever you can.
