Catching Hell

This is the story of Steve Bartman who came to be blamed by Chicago Cubs fans for them losing to the Florida Marlins in the 2003 National Championship Series. Bartman reached to catch a ball flying towards him and prevented the Cubs outfielder from making catch and putting his team just four outs away for winning their first National League title since 1945.

After the game Bartman had to be taken from the stadium by security and was placed under police protection to prevent irate Cubs fans from getting to him.
