Conor McGregor isn't just inside Jose Aldo's head, he's renting an apartment there. By the time the final day of their world media tour on March 31st in Dublin rolls around, the Irishman will probably have contacted Dermot Bannon about drawing up plans for something more permanent.
The two kicked off their eight city trip in Rio de Janeiro on Friday and the UFC captured some of the events for their 'Embedded' video blog series.
The most intriguing moment was backstage after the media Q&A when Aldo informs the camera:
I am really mad. I can't wait to go right through him.
The source of his rage was undoubtedly his opponent's words. McGregor told Aldo that if this was a different time then he'd invade his favela on horseback. When the two stared each other down, the challenger directed the title holder to "Look into my eyes little man, little Brazilian" before switching to Portuguese to ensure complete clarity and proclaiming "You're going to die".
