Golden Tate of the Seattle Seahawks caught a controversial touchdown pass to beat the Green Bay Packers last night.

The Packers led 12-7 with the Seahawks on the Packers 24 yard line at 4th and 10 with only eight seconds remaining in the fourth quarter. Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson launches a hail mary pass into the endzone where several players leap to gain possession of the ball. Dual possession of the ball always goes in favour of the offense but as the Packers' player gained possession first, the Seattle player cannot then attempt to take the ball from him. The touchdown should not have stood. The play was reviewed via instant replay by the officials but the touchdown still stood.

The Packers now have a 1-2 record in probably the toughest division in the league while the Seahawks go to 2-1.
