Adidas' love-affair with the old school Predator boots continues to offer up more throwbacks for the countless football fans that believe they are the pinnacle of football boot design.
After discontinuing the boot in 2014, Adidas clearly realised they made a mistake as the boot is set for a comeback in 2018, and to bridge the gap we have seen re-releases of some of the more iconic offerings.
First came the remake of the 2002 Predator Manian, then we were delighted to see the 'champagne' colourway of the same boot put back out for limited sale, and then the Predator Precision was up next as the classic blue colourway was released, but now Adidas have got David Beckham on board for a range of footwear styled on the 98 Predator Accelerator.
In total three products are being released, one street/casual shoe (black), one astro-turf/5-a-side football shoe (red), and a pair of boots in all white.
Feast your eyes on the final product below:
The black pair look absolutely perfect for when you're on a night out and all of a sudden need to whip a curling free-kick into the top corner from all of 35 yards, a problem we've all faced at one time or another.
In all seriousness, the monochromatic style is likely to be a big hit, though it remains to be seen whether any Adidas sponsored players will wear the white boots in an actual match.
The Predator remakes have all sold out in seconds despite their eye-watering price tags, so hopefully there will be a lot more of these put on general sale since Beckham's name and image is being used to push it.
The man himself announced the launch live on Facebook where he also participated in a quick game of 5-a-side in his new red boots.
