Belfast Giants Ice Hockey Player Receives 29 Stitches After Horrific Cut

Ice hockey players are well renowned for being tough nuts. And in Belfast they're no different. Belfast Giants player Craig Peacock received this nasty injury at the weekend.

Peacock received a nasty cut to the face after an opponents ice skate slit him just above his upper lip. Remarkably, Peacock had broken his nose earlier in the week and hadn't realised the extent of his injury until he returned to the dressing room.

Ouch!
