Dana White does not employ the inoffensive corporate-speak public relations policy traditionally favoured by other sporting presidents such as Sepp Blatter and Roger Goodell. The UFC president publicly berated the performance of referee Steve Mazzagatti in a nine-minute rant for his performance during last Friday's clash between Jon Fitch and Josh Burkman in the main event of the World Series of Fighting.

Burkman's 'guillotine choke' ended the bout after a mere 41 seconds but White was angry that the fight didn't finish sooner. Burkman felt Fitch go limp and then immediately released his hold, and only then did Mazzagatti step in and wave the fight off. This isn't the first time White has had 'issues' with the veteran referee.
