It's the British Grand Prix this weekend and that means there's a few extra column inches dedicated to retired Formula 1 drivers and their thoughts on the sport and anything else that might pop into their minds. And we really do mean anything.

Case in point this humorous little exchange between The Guardian and David Coulthard. These kind of Q&A interviews are supposed to be light, irreverent pieces of fluff. If David Coulthard isn't exactly the first person you think of when you're looking for a bit of lighthearted fun then prepare to have that opinion changed.

My grandfather said that the only way to keep a secret was to whisper it up a lady's private parts.

We would have preferred if he hadn't kept a bit PG with the phrasing but kudos for giving us a bit of a laugh nonetheless. To be honest, we didn't think he had it in him.
