Frankie’s Lock of the Week: The New England Patriots -3.5 @ 10/11 (General)
What a game this promises to be on Monday night when the 9-3 New England Patriots face off with the 11-1 Houston Texans in Foxboro in a game which could go a long way in determining which team will get home field advantage throughout the play-offs.
The Patriots are on a six-game win streak at the moment and are looking red-hot on offence. In four of those six wins they have but up over 37 points FOUR TIMES.
Let’s give Houston credit too though, they’re also on a six-game win-streak.
But look at their last three games - Titans 24-10 (W), Lions 34-31 (OT W), Jaguars 43-37 (OT W).
For me it doesn't read like a team who are going to go to the Pats and win, never mind actually win the Super Bowl.
If their defence can hold, the Patriots will rack up a score here.
Frankie’s Underdog of the Week: The Dallas Cowboys @ 13/8 (Coral)
The Coyboys are getting it done on offence at the moment and while I wouldn't go crazy, they could just snatch a road win in Cincinnati.
Tony Romo, Jason Witten, and Dez Bryant have all found some form and they may be able to just get something going.
I just can’t buy into the Bengals, year after year they brush aside the weaker teams and then fall short when it really counts.
