Last Week, Frankie Got Screwed By: Nada, Zip, Zero, Zilch

Maybe it was just beginner's luck, but last week everything this column tipped came up trumps.

Dallas won by five points against Carolina, while our team to avoid, Baltimore, went down 13-43 in Houston.

Even our banker treble of Houston, Green Bay and New England came in, despite the best efforts of the Patriots to mess it up.

Frankie’s Lock Of The Week: Carolina to score under 18 points at Chicago @ 10/11 (BetVictor)

The Panthers have the worst record in the NFC and the Bears are hot off a 13-7 victory over the Detroit Lions on Monday night, so this should be a home banker.

Monday night's win was the Bears' fourth victory on the bounce and with one of the leading defences in the NFL, I can't see Carolina quarterback Cam Newton and his Panthers causing them too many problems.

It could turn out to be a very long day for Newton and Co and I think you can be pretty confident they won't rack up too many scores.

Frankie’s Underdog of the Week: Seattle Seahawks @ 13/11 (Pinnacle)

The Seahawks are doing a lot right on their defence this season and despite their 6-13 defeat to the 49ers in San Francisco last week, they're a team I really like.

Coming up against Detroit this week, I reckon Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford and his offence could really struggle considering the Seahawks are only coughing up, on average, 15.1 points per game.

If they can get it together on offence they might just have enough to cause an upset in Detroit.

Frankie’s Team to Avoid: Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals have managed just 33 points over the last three weeks and with Kevin Kolb they're really in trouble.

Throw in the fact they have been making plenty of turnovers and it just gets worse.

True they started the season 4-0 but they seemed to have lost momentum and I don't think they have anyway of getting it back any time soon.

The Cards are up against a tough defence in San Francisco this week and with the 49ers having extra time to prepare for the game, I would steer well clear.
