Elsewhere Newstalk's evening sports show Off the Ball's listenership is now at 41,000, a drop of 2,000 book-on-book. While it is indeed a decrease, it also shows that they have held on to the vast majority of their audience despite the departure of its the Second Captains team of Eoin McDevitt, Ken Early, Ciaran Murphy, Simon Hick and Mark Horgan in March.

There was also some good news however for Newstalk Sport Saturday and Sunday with audience figures jumping to a combined 145,000 – a rise of 4,000 in the last year.
