During a Welcome Week (or Freshers' Week) event at Ball State University, 18-year-old Marcus Burden was given four chances to net a half-court shot, with a semester's free tuition at stake. The prize is worth about $11,000 (€8,250) for an out-of-state student, according to The Dagger. Missing the first three shots didn't prove too much of a Burden (no? nobody?) as he drained the fourth. His reaction says it all.
