Fair play to Joey Chestnutt who devoured 62 hot dogs in 10 minutes in 95 degree heat today on Coney Island to celebrate American exceptionalism. You may have heard that Chestnutt's main rival, Takeru Kobayashi was banned from the contest for the second year in a row. Kobayashi staged a protest eating in Manhattan and managed to eat 69 hot dogs in 10 minutes - and gained 18.8 pounds in the process.
