There were only about 50 people who attended the 1994 Castletown Donkey Derby, but like all true great Irish sporting events, like Giants Stadium in '94 or Loftus Road in '85 there are at least a million people who claim to have witnessed Jennifer and the other lads in their epic donkey jaunt. There's many of the trappings of early-90s Ireland - the Bart Simpson T-shirts, the VHS narrator, the dodgy mullets. Donkey derbies don't get more memorable.
